What You’ll Accomplish

Connect your YouTube channel and schedule both standard videos and YouTube Shorts directly from IDEQO.

Requirements

Verified YouTube account
Google account with channel admin access

Connect YouTube to IDEQO

Go to Settings > Integrations > Video Platforms
Click Connect YouTube
Log in with your Google account
Select your YouTube channel
Grant permissions to upload and manage videos

YouTube is now connected.

Schedule YouTube Videos

Go to Create > New Post
Select YouTube
Upload your video
Configure settings:
- Video Type: Select Long-form Video or Short
- Privacy: Public, Unlisted, or Private
- Category: Choose a category (e.g., Entertainment, Education)
- Audience: Select if content is “Made for Kids” (COPPA requirement)
Add title (max 100 characters) and description
Schedule or publish

Video Requirements

Standard (Long-form)

Format: MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV Orientation: Horizontal (16:9) recommended Length: Any duration supported by your account status File size: Up to 256GB (keep under 2GB for faster upload)

Shorts

Format: MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV Orientation: Vertical (9:16) Max length: 60 seconds File size: Up to 256GB (keep under 2GB for faster upload)

Analytics

Track your channel’s high-level performance in Analytics > YouTube:

Total Views
Subscriber Count
Total Videos

Troubleshooting

“Video upload failed” → Check file size (under 2GB recommended) and format (MP4 preferred).

“Title too long” → YouTube titles max out at 100 characters. Shorten and retry.
