Saving & Exporting

Once you’ve created your design, you’ll want to save it and export it for use. IDEQO offers several ways to save and export your designs.

There are three main ways to save your work:

Saving to your media library is the quickest way to save your design as a flattened image.

To save to library:

  1. Click Save to Library (Save icon) in the top right header.
  2. Your design is saved as a PNG image.
  3. It appears immediately in your Media Library for use in posts.

To save your work with all layers editable, use the Save As menu. You can save as a private project or a reusable public template.

To save your design:

  1. Click Save As (dropdown) in the header.
  2. Select Save as Template.
  3. In the dialog:
    • Name: Enter a name for your design.
    • Save as Public Template:
      • Uncheck this to save as a private Design Project (visible only to you).
      • Check this to save as a Public Template (reusable by others).
  4. Click Save.

If you are working on a design you’ve already loaded:

  1. Click Save As -> Save as Template.
  2. The dialog will title show Update Design.
  3. Click Update to save your changes.

To reopen a saved project or template:

  1. Click Load (Folder icon) in the header.
  2. Browse your saved designs list.
  3. Click a design to load it onto the canvas.

You can also:

  • Delete a design by hovering and clicking the Trash icon.
  • Refresh the list using the Refresh button if a recent design is missing.

Exporting downloads your design to your computer.

  1. Click Save As in the header.
  2. Choose your format:
    • Save as PNG: Best for transparency and high quality.
    • Save as JPEG: Best for photos and smaller file sizes (no transparency).
    • Save as SVG: Best for logos and vectors (scalable).

  • Check your internet connection.
  • Ensure you are logged in.
  • SVG: Some complex filters may not export perfectly to SVG. Use PNG if this happens.
  • Transparency: JPEGs turn transparent areas white. Use PNG for transparency.
