Understand Your Analytics Dashboard

You’ll understand how to read IDEQO’s analytics dashboard, track what matters, and use insights to create better content.

IDEQO pulls data from all your connected platforms and shows it in one dashboard. No more jumping between Instagram Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, and Twitter Analytics.

What you can track:

  • Post performance (likes, comments, shares, saves)
  • Engagement rates by platform and content type
  • Best posting times
  • Top-performing content
  • Audience growth
  • Click-through rates

Top metrics:

  • Total Followers: Current audience size across platforms
  • Total Engagement: Likes + comments + shares + saves
  • Average Engagement Rate: Engagement divided by reach (industry benchmark: 2-5%)
  • Scheduled & Published: Track your content pipeline volume
  • Follower Growth: Net growth trend over time

Time filters: Last 7 days, 30 days, 3 months, 6 months, year

Use the Audience tab to see:

  • Demographics (age, gender)
  • Top locations
  • Best times to post (based on when your audience is most active)

Sort your content performance by:

  • Most engagement
  • Highest reach
  • Most likes or comments
  • Fastest growth

Use this to: Identify what resonates and create more of it.

See patterns in your best content:

  • Hashtag Performance: Which tags drive the most reach?
  • Posting Frequency: Recommendations on how often to post.
  • Content Type: Insights on what formats (images, carousels, etc.) work best.

Reach: Unique people who saw your post Impressions: Total times your post was viewed (includes repeat views)

Example: If 100 people saw your post and 20 of them saw it twice, you have:

  • Reach: 100
  • Impressions: 120

Formula: (Likes + Comments + Shares + Saves) ÷ Reach × 100

Benchmarks:

  • Instagram: 1-5%
  • LinkedIn: 2-6%
  • Twitter: 0.5-1%
  • YouTube: 2-5%

Why it matters: Engagement rate shows how compelling your content is, regardless of follower count.

Formula: Saves ÷ Reach × 100

Why it matters: Saves indicate high-value content people want to reference later. Instagram’s algorithm loves saves.

Formula: Clicks ÷ Impressions × 100

Benchmarks:

  • Social media posts: 0.5-2%
  • Email newsletters: 2-5%

Why it matters: If you’re driving traffic to your website or product, CTR is your most important metric.

Tracking vanity metrics Likes and followers look good but don’t always drive business results. Focus on engagement rate, clicks, and conversions.

Not comparing to benchmarks Is 100 likes on a post good? Depends. If your reach was 10,000, that’s a 1% engagement rate (below average).

Ignoring negative trends If engagement is declining month-over-month, don’t ignore it. Investigate and adjust.

Checking analytics too often Daily checks create anxiety. Weekly is enough for most teams.
