Exporting Reports
Exporting reports lets you share your analytics data with your team, clients, or stakeholders. You can export data in different formats and create custom reports for specific time periods.
Why Export Reports?
Section titled “Why Export Reports?”Exporting reports helps you:
- Share insights - Send reports to team members or clients
- Create presentations - Use PDF reports in meetings or presentations
- Analyze data - Export CSV files for deeper analysis in Excel or Google Sheets
- Track progress - Keep historical records of your performance
- Client reporting - Provide regular reports to clients
Export Formats
Section titled “Export Formats”IDEQO supports exporting analytics data in different formats:
CSV Export
Section titled “CSV Export”CSV (Comma-Separated Values) files are perfect for:
- Data analysis in Excel or Google Sheets
- Creating custom charts and graphs
- Combining with other data sources
- Detailed post-level data
What’s included:
- Post-level metrics (likes, comments, shares, impressions, etc.)
- Publishing dates and times
- Platform information
- Engagement rates
- All raw data for analysis
PDF Export
Section titled “PDF Export”PDF reports are perfect for:
- Sharing with stakeholders
- Client presentations
- Email reports
- Printing or archiving
What’s included:
- Executive summary with key metrics
- Charts and visualizations
- Top performing posts
- Performance trends
- Formatted for easy reading
How to Export Reports
Section titled “How to Export Reports”From Analytics Dashboard
Section titled “From Analytics Dashboard”- Go to Analytics (
/analytics) - Select your time range (Last 7 days, 30 days, etc.)
- Click Export button (top right)
- Choose export format:
- CSV - For data analysis
- PDF - For sharing and presentations
- Select what to include:
- Overview metrics
- Post performance
- Platform comparison
- Custom date range
- Click Download
The report will download to your browser’s default download location.
From Integration Insights
Section titled “From Integration Insights”You can also export platform-specific reports:
- Go to Integrations (
/integrations) - Click on an integration
- Go to the Analytics tab
- Click Export (if available)
- Choose format and date range
- Download
Report Types
Section titled “Report Types”Performance Summary Report
Section titled “Performance Summary Report”A high-level overview of your performance:
- Key metrics (followers, engagement rate, reach)
- Month-over-month comparison
- Top performing posts
- Platform breakdown
- Best posting times
Best for: Weekly or monthly updates to stakeholders
Post-Level Data Report
Section titled “Post-Level Data Report”Detailed data for every post:
- Post content and caption
- Publishing date and time
- Platform
- Likes, comments, shares, impressions
- Engagement rate
- Click-through rate (if available)
Best for: Deep analysis and optimization
Platform Comparison Report
Section titled “Platform Comparison Report”Compare performance across platforms:
- Side-by-side metrics
- Platform-specific insights
- Best platform for your content
- Growth trends by platform
Best for: Deciding where to focus your efforts
Custom Reports
Section titled “Custom Reports”Create reports with specific filters:
- Date range - Any custom period
- Platform - One or multiple platforms
- Content type - Posts, stories, videos, etc.
- Performance - Top performers, underperformers, etc.
Best for: Specific analysis needs
Customizing Reports

Section titled “Date Range”Select any date range for your report:
- Last 7 days
- Last 30 days
- Last 3 months
- Last 6 months
- Last year
- Custom range (pick start and end dates)
Filters
Section titled “Filters”Filter reports by:
- Platform - Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
- Content type - Posts, stories, videos, carousels
- Performance - Top performers, all posts, failed posts
- Status - Published, scheduled, drafts
Metrics to Include
Section titled “Metrics to Include”Choose which metrics to include:
- Engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares)
- Reach and impressions
- Click-through rates
- Follower growth
- Publishing performance
Sharing Reports
Section titled “Sharing Reports”Download and Share
Section titled “Download and Share”- Export your report
- Download the file (CSV or PDF)
- Share via email, Slack, or file sharing service
Scheduled Reports
Section titled “Scheduled Reports”Using Exported Data

- Excel - Full spreadsheet analysis
- Google Sheets - Collaborative analysis
- Numbers (Mac) - Native Mac spreadsheet app
- Any text editor - View raw data

- Create pivot tables to summarize data
- Build custom charts
- Combine with other data sources
- Calculate custom metrics
PDF Reports
Section titled “PDF Reports”PDF reports are ready to:
- Email - Send directly to stakeholders
- Present - Use in meetings or presentations
- Print - Physical copies for records
- Archive - Keep for historical reference

Report Organization
Section titled “Report Organization”- Name files clearly - Use dates in filenames (e.g., “Analytics-Report-Jan-2025.pdf”)
- Store systematically - Keep reports organized by date
- Version control - Don’t overwrite old reports

Troubleshooting

- Try refreshing the page
- Make sure you have data to export
- Try a different browser
Report Missing Data
Section titled “Report Missing Data”- Check your date range - make sure it includes published posts
- Verify integrations are connected and active
- Some platforms may have limited historical data
File Won’t Download

- Look in your Downloads folder
- Try a different browser
