TikTok - Schedule Videos and Manage Content Pipeline

Requirements

• TikTok Business account (not Personal)
• To convert: Go to TikTok Settings > Manage Account > Switch to Business Account

Connect TikTok

1. Go to Settings > Integrations
2. Click Connect TikTok
3. Log in to TikTok
4. Grant permissions
5. Confirm

Schedule TikTok Videos

Due to TikTok API limitations, IDEQO sends your video to your TikTok App Inbox for final approval.

1. Select TikTok as platform
2. Upload video (15 seconds to 10 minutes)
3. Schedule or publish

How to Finalize Publishing

1. You will receive a notification in your TikTok mobile app: “Your video is ready”
2. Open the notification to load the video into the TikTok editor
3. Manually add your caption, hashtags, and cover image
4. Set privacy settings (who can view, duet, stitch)
5. Tap Post in the TikTok app

⚠️ Warning

Captions, hashtags, and privacy settings entered in IDEQO are not sent to TikTok. You must add them in the TikTok app before posting.

Video specs:

• Format: MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV
• Aspect ratio: 9:16 (vertical)
• Resolution: 1080x1920px
• Max size: 287MB
• Max length: 10 minutes

Hook viewers in the first 3 seconds. TikTok users scroll fast.

Best Practices

• Post 1-3 times per day
• Use trending sounds
• Add captions (many watch without sound)
• Engage with comments in first hour
• Cross-post to Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
