AI Usage & Limits
Your IDEQO plan includes limits on AI features like image generation, video generation, and text operations. This page shows you how to track your usage and understand what happens when you reach your limits.
Where to View Usage
Section titled “Where to View Usage”Go to Billing & Usage (click your profile icon in the sidebar) to see your usage dashboard. You’ll see all your usage metrics in one place.
Understanding Usage Metrics
Section titled “Understanding Usage Metrics”The usage dashboard shows several metrics:
AI Features
Section titled “AI Features”- Image Generations - How many AI images you’ve created this month
- Video Generations - How many AI videos you’ve created (coming soon)
- Text Operations - How many AI text generations you’ve used
Other Features
Section titled “Other Features”- Brand Kits - Number of brand kits you’ve created
- Brand Voices - Number of brand voices you’ve set up
- Integrations - Number of connected social media accounts
- Team Members - Number of users on your team
- Storage - Amount of storage used (in MB)
- Products Synced - Total products synced from e-commerce stores
How Usage Works
Section titled “How Usage Works”Monthly Reset
Section titled “Monthly Reset”Your AI usage resets every month. For example:
- If your limit is 100 image generations per month
- You use 50 in January
- On February 1st, your count resets to 0
- You can use 100 more in February
Unlimited Features
Section titled “Unlimited Features”Some features show “Unlimited” (∞). This means there’s no limit on how much you can use.
Early Access
Section titled “Early Access”During Early Access, some AI features may show “Unlimited for now — limits will apply after launch.” This means you can use them without limits right now, but limits will be added later.
Reading Usage Cards
Section titled “Reading Usage Cards”Each usage card shows:
- Title - What the metric is (e.g., “Image Generations”)
- Used / Max - How much you’ve used vs your limit (e.g., “45 / 100”)
- Progress Bar - Visual indicator of how close you are to your limit
- Status Badge - Shows if you’re within limits (green), approaching limits (yellow), or over limits (red)
- Remaining - How much you have left (e.g., “55 left”)
Status Colors
Section titled “Status Colors”- Green - You’re using less than 80% of your limit
- Yellow - You’re using 80% or more of your limit
- Red - You’ve exceeded your limit
Usage Alerts
Section titled “Usage Alerts”Approaching Limit Alert
Section titled “Approaching Limit Alert”When you’re using 80% or more of a limit, you’ll see a yellow alert:

You’re approaching your plan limits. Consider upgrading to get more resources.
This is a warning that you’re getting close to your limit. You can still use the feature, but you might want to upgrade your plan.
Over Limit Alert
Section titled “Over Limit Alert”If you exceed a limit, you’ll see a red alert:

Some usage already exceeds your plan limits. Please resolve overages to regain full access.
When you see this, you need to either:
- Upgrade your plan to get higher limits
- Remove some items (like team members or integrations) to get back under your limit
What Happens When You Reach a Limit
Section titled “What Happens When You Reach a Limit”AI Image Generation
Section titled “AI Image Generation”If you reach your image generation limit:
- You’ll see an error message: “Image generation limit reached for your current plan”
- You won’t be able to generate new images
- You can upgrade your plan to continue generating images
AI Text Operations
Section titled “AI Text Operations”If you reach your text operations limit:
- AI text generation features will stop working
- You’ll need to upgrade to continue using AI text features
Other Limits
Section titled “Other Limits”For limits like team members, brand kits, or integrations:
- You won’t be able to add more until you upgrade
- You may need to remove existing items to get back under your limit
Refreshing Usage Data
Section titled “Refreshing Usage Data”Usage updates automatically, but you can manually refresh:
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click the Refresh button in the Usage Analytics section
- Your usage will update to show the latest numbers
Understanding Your Plan Limits
Section titled “Understanding Your Plan Limits”Different plans have different limits. To see your plan’s limits:
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Look at the Plan Limits section
- This shows what your current plan includes
Common Limit Types
Section titled “Common Limit Types”- Finite Limits - A specific number (e.g., 100 image generations)
- Unlimited - No limit (shown as ∞)
- Early Access - Unlimited for now, limits coming later
Upgrading Your Plan
Section titled “Upgrading Your Plan”If you’re running out of usage:
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click Manage Subscription or Upgrade Plan
- Choose a plan with higher limits
- Your new limits take effect immediately
Best Practices
Section titled “Best Practices”Monitor Your Usage
Section titled “Monitor Your Usage”- Check your usage regularly, especially if you use AI features often
- Watch for yellow alerts so you know when you’re getting close to limits
- Plan ahead if you know you’ll need more usage
Use Features Wisely
Section titled “Use Features Wisely”- Image Generation - Each image counts as one use, so generate only what you need
- Text Operations - Each AI text generation counts, so review suggestions before regenerating
- Storage - Delete unused files to free up storage space
Upgrade When Needed
Section titled “Upgrade When Needed”- If you consistently hit limits, consider upgrading
- Higher plans often have better value if you use features regularly
- Annual plans save money compared to monthly plans
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Usage Not Updating
Section titled “Usage Not Updating”If your usage doesn’t seem to update:
- Wait a few minutes (updates happen every 15 minutes)
- Click the Refresh button
- Check your internet connection
Wrong Usage Shown
Section titled “Wrong Usage Shown”If usage seems incorrect:
- Refresh the page
- Check if you’re looking at the right month (usage resets monthly)
- Contact support if it still seems wrong
Can’t Use Feature Despite Having Usage
Section titled “Can’t Use Feature Despite Having Usage”If you can’t use a feature but your usage shows you have space:
- Make sure you’re not over other limits (like team members or integrations)
- Check for any error messages
- Try refreshing the page
- Contact support if the issue continues
